The Red Admiral lineage

This butterfly has a history! XD
Every year, this same butterfly comes back in the same part of my garden. Obviously it's a new one each year (and maybe new ones), but it's kind of great there's a butterfly 'lineage' sticking to the same place. ^^
Thus, each butterfly will take you for a flower or a promontory and land on your head, your raised hand, your shoulder or your nose, but only if you keep very very still, just to sunbath, you know.

In French, we call it The Vulcan.

I saw that, and it made me laugh! No wonder why it keep its positions and is quite unafraid of humans : "This is a conspicuous and aggressive butterfly that often claims a territory, like a road through a wood or even a parking lot, and defends it against all comers."
